Welcome

25 YEARS OF AN AGELESS MUSEUM
On 21 June 1985, the Alimentarium Food Museum became a new addition to the menu of Swiss cultural institutions. Since then, over a million visitors have explored the Alimentarium, a truly unique experience as it is the only museum in the world devoted to food and nutrition in general.

The Museum has chosen to celebrate its 25th anniversary with a festive programme of new and invigorating events: a short film competition Prix de Court and four convivial open days  to feast on. The first open day Body Instinct was held on Saturday 6 March.
