Still life has never appeared more alive than in the Alimentarium’s new exhibition:
AN ARTIST’S DELIGHT
REVEALING THE FANTASIES OF STILL LIFE
From 3 May 2013 to 30 April 2014.
Part of the Museum has been specially redesigned to display 25 works of art by local Swiss talent and international master artists, including Renoir, Picasso, Giacometti, Hermanjat, Legi, Baud-Bovy, Personnaz and Mocafico. Another first for the Alimentarium!
Be creative, learn and play with state-of-the-art multimedia
The second floor of the Museum has been divided into four sectors where electronic animation invites visitors to explore still life from an aesthetic point of view, as a food historian or for its religious symbolism. It’s unique, fun and educational!
