Welcome

25 YEARS OF AN AGELESS MUSEUM
On 21 June 1985, the Alimentarium Food Museum became a new addition to the menu of Swiss cultural institutions. Since then, over a million visitors have explored the Alimentarium, a truly unique experience as it is the only museum in the world devoted to food and nutrition in general.

The Museum has chosen to celebrate its 25th anniversary with a festive programme of new and invigorating events: a short film competition Prix de Court and four convivial open days  to feast on. Body Instinct, Back to Nature and Exotiquement Vôtre were held on Saturday 6 March, Sunday 2 May and Saturday 19 June. Connected Housewives will celebrate the TV heros, guests of our kitchen on Saturday 4 September (10 am-6 pm).

As icing on the cake, entrance to the museum IS FREE OF CHARGE to all who turn 25 years of age in 2010.
